Kathryn Williams is a highly respected singer and songwriter, born in Liverpool and currently based in Newcastle. It was her second album, “Little Black Numbers”, that gave Kathryn her breakthrough in 2000, garnering a Mercury Music Prize nomination for Album of the Year. Kathryn has collaborated and performed with a wide variety of musicians and artists, including Chris Difford, The Magic Numbers and Neill MacColl (son of Ewan).
The Sons of Rodger are a Sheffield-based prog-folk band. They previously played together for many years in the classic rock band Rodger, as well as with other notable members of the Sheffield music scene; Frank White, Dale Storr, Cary Bayliss, Danny Cummings. They've also appeared on national and local BBC playlists and radio sessions. They play their own original material and also cover songs by the likes of Steve Earle, Jethro Tull and Nick Drake.
